Slab Identification

Hi I have two slabs making up my garage door step and would like to make a path and slabbed area using the same type, but I have no idea what they may be called.

Here is a couple of pictures, can anyone put a name to them?

Looks like some sort of sandstone.

Looks like 'Stonemarket' olde london (used to be the name..) quite an expensive slab,actually dearer than some Natural stones.....but very good quality,i think Marshalls now own Stonemarket.

Thanks for the replies. I dont think its sandstone as it feels harder and not as rough, but I may be wrong.

It looks terribly fake - a yorkstone 'effect' with slate colour.

I'd bin them and start again, sorry.

Colour looks like "original", but yes, I'd say they were Stonemarket Millstone, and yes, Stonemarket are owned by Marshalls. The Millstone was based on Bradstones' "Old Town" paving, grey-green is their colour. All the sheds sell Bradstone, which is why we don't.

Cheers for the replies. Definately looks like Stonemarket Millstone, now just got to find out the price.

Well after pricing up the required amount of Millstone, I will be going for something else!

Can get natural stone slabs for less than half the price!

Yes, and that's why the sales in coloured concrete paving are dropping through the floor.
