My 5 month old pup has his first bad dose of diarrhea - not surprising considering the crap he eats out on walks! Anyway, any suggestions as to how best to treat it? He is fine in himself and eating normally but he has thrown up a few times as well.
Thanks.

Vomiting and diarrhoea at the same time in a young pup of 5 months needs seeing by a vet. Please phone yours and get seen today. Young puppies can go downhill quite quickly.

try a scrambled egg or a little bit of chicken in boiled rice,
both will solid him up til his belly sorts itself out.

I found cooked pumpkin to help solid up a puppy poo.

As soon as you see blood, run to the vets. Make sure he is drinking water too. The last puppy I had loved puppy milk so I would dilute it with water so it was pretty much white water.
