I often have friends refer to my house as the "mini zoo" laugh I don't think I have that many, and indeed know people with any more than I do!

Pets - 3 dogs

wildlife, hundreds of geko's and a few garden lizards. Occasionally a pangolin or monkey makes the garden its home for a few weeks too.

Indoors - me, cats x3, 5 personal assistants on a 24 hour rota. Outside - local hedgehog, selection of feral children, assorted neighbourhood semi-stray cats who sleep in my carport sometimes.

Currently 3 cats and a dog (used to be 4 cats and a dog) I've had a variety in the past. At one time I had a rabbit, 1 guinea pig, 2 cats, 2 rats, 1 tortoise, 1 finch, 1 budgie. All rescues except the rabbit.

Not sure I'd want that many again though!!

2 cats and a dozen fish.

However, as a kid, there was a time when our samoyed and german shepherd each had a litter of half a dozen puppies. This was with a poodle, a couple of aquariums, a few budgies, two cockatiels, several love birds, and two ducks (with their brood of ducklings) also around to keep us kids company.
And no, I didn't grow up on a farm.

rats! farrrrrr more sociable and fun than Degu's which will try and get away from you and scamper while rats will happily sit on your shoulder or wander about and come back...far more intelligent too , and rats are cleaner, they will use a litter tray for example but a degu will just go anywhere! had house bunnies (and still do 6 months of year) they do interact with you but some can be destructive as chewing is in thier nature! and you must get them neutered or they spray a foul smell!

Three cats, none of which we chose, and two rabbits, both of which we chose.
