3 Month old Bengal Brothers
Discussion
There seems to be a few proud new Bengal owners on the forum so I thought I would post pics of our new additions as well!
They arrived a week ago and have been a real joy. Fabulous little characters and extremely friendly.
Hope you guys enjoy the pics, its quite hard to get good ones as they are so fast!

Thanks guys, I am extremely proud of them. They are a real credit to their breeder too as they are so friendly and good natured.
We had them weighed at 3 months and one week, the bigger boy, Theo ( with his head stuck in the glass) was 2kg. Ajax was 1,9kg.

I'll update this thread with more pics as they grow
Best,
Adam

As I mentioned I would try and keep this thread updated as the boys grew. Now they are 6 months today I thought it would be nice to upload some new pictures. They have really grown very quickly and their markings are really coming through beautifully. They are becoming really strong, muscley and very vocal. Its almost as if the past few months they have learnt how to speak and want the world to know. They chirrup, squeek, moan and call unlike any cat I have ever heard, its quite endearing. The coolest sound is a kind of clicking sound they make when they are hunting toys (they sound like the Predator). Ill try and get a video of that.
We taught both boys how to use the toilet so no more litter which is nice, they picked it up really quickly so I would recommend anyone to try (we used litter kwitter).

This is the winner for me:

We sent our breeder harnesses when she was bringing them up so from a very young age they were wearing them.

It’s like second nature for them now and doesn’t bother them at all.
They are very well behaved on the leads, we are really trying to train them to walk with us like a dog, we aren’t there yet but we are making good progress.
Dogs can be an issue, we take them to parks which only allow dogs on leads. When this is the case it’s no problem but sometimes dogs are off their leads and it can be a bit worrying to be honest. So if that happens we scoop them up and take them to their carrier, plus we only walk them as early in the morning as possible and there usually isn’t anyone around. The boys aren’t that wary around dogs too which I think is an issue because they are still quite small and it would only take one aggressive large dog to go for one of them…
So now we stick to smaller parks which don’t allow dogs but happily do allow cats (I called our local council and asked for permission, the woman I spoke to was very friendly and interested in leash walking cats (she has some herself) she had to check with the park manager who said it was fine and was also the first time anyone had asked if they could walk their cats in a park before!)

Another Bengal lover here. Our snow spotted boy was 1 year old last week-how the time has flown by.He is allowed outside so we are brought regular 'presents'-everything from giant caterpillars to a headless pigeon dripping blood all over the kitchen floor!
