A bloke who owns a pet shop in a nearby village has got a pet fox. As I used to live in the village I used to read the article he wrote in a monthly booklet for the village, and it suprised me how easily how well the fox adapted to being a pet. If I remember correctly it wasn't his first fox and was already had another fox. Here's a link to the most recent newspaper article http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1357900/Mi... What do you guys and girls think of it?
The village is in west sussex not east sussex.

Some friends of mine took in an orphaned fox in Australia which prompted me to research it. I discovered it was illegal and very hit and miss how the thing would grow up, being as it is a wild animal, pretty undomesticatable and would likely not survive if released.
I seem to remember it gave their puppy mange and then died. Or something.

Belgian friend of mine found a tiny bundle of fur lying next to the corpse of a vixen.Took it home and hand reared it. The Fox thinks it self a dog, behaves like one,and in its eighth year is very active and very friendly, sit's on your lap as soon as you sit down! Lovely creature and never been a spot of trouble.
