Kill mice and bring them home, but not eat them?!?!

I keep finding them down the path and around the herb garden. Why does she not at least have the decency to eat them?

My cat brings them home alive, then sits on them. Weird.

But I've also not fed her in a morning just to see, she still does the same thing. Annoys me, if she has to kill the poor little sods she could at least do the decent thing.

Mine sometimes eat them as well, depends on how they are feeling at the time. If its any consolation if they do eat them you can expect:

1) just the head, and a bile sack, or some form of intestines left in a messy pile for you somewhere
2) A cat with really very bad, as in worse than usual bad breath bearing down on you
3) Violent cat flatulence the next day. Think "hurricane CAT-trina", mixed with weapons grade chemical warfare.
4) As above, think of the mess they make of the litter tray when you accidentally feed them lasagne (dont ask). Mouse tends to make that look like a well iced chocolate cake by comparison.

Catch and release does have its benefits.
