I have been trying to find a dog coat for my mini bull terrier that can be worn over the top of a harness, but have so far only been able to find one company that sells both harnesses and coats that can be worn together and have emailed them but have had no reply. Does anyone know of a company that sells these coats? I need the coat to be warm and waterproof for the winter months, but don't want to spend an absolute fortune on one as she's not the most delicate dog in the world.

Thanks

I am easily confused these days, so apologies if I have the wrong end of the stick... Don't you just need a coat with a hole in the right place to clip the lead on the harness?

I know people who make bespoke coats and harnesses at a very reasonable price smile

They are run by two different people, but they are friends and so could co-ordinate if you wanted smile

I don't always find it easy to locate stuff on FB groups, but I think you will be able to see some examples in the photos. Both of them will do exactly what you want anyway smile

Thank you, I had a quick look earlier. I don't suppose you know if the woman who makes the coats would make a waterproof one do you? As far as I could tell all the ones on the facebook page were just a fleece type material.

Have you tried www.muddypaws.co.uk ? I got one of these locally - waterproof and fleecelined with a hole for lead or harness to go through. I think it was around £12 or £14.

Bought a control harness with 2 hooks and a coat with 2 holes from pets at home. Only found them in XL which was ok for daisy our Doberman.

Just to update this thread, I ended up ordering from the people Mrs Grumpy recommended, they were both extremely professional and both the jumper and harness fit my mini bullie perfectly. The jumper keeps her lovely and toasty warm, especially when we go walking in temperatures as low as -19. I also ended up buying both of my dogs lovely new collars, and my GSD a new headcollar.
