We are looking at one of these from a rescue centre. He is about 8 months old and absolutely gorgeous.
Is there anything to be aware of with this 'mix'. We have a Springer already and 'lost' a Labrador earlier in the year?
Thanks

Go for it! Then, well done on adopting a rescue dog! The mix sounds great, love to see some pictures when your new doggy is settled in.

He is lovely, but has very sad eyes. Hate to think what he was been through in his short life...

Then you must adopt him and make it better! I suppose the only things are the joints as will be a large dog, and Danes tend to be short lived. But IMO cross breeds tend to be healthier and a bit more robust (usual exceptions apply before anybody gets on high horse) so can't see major issues. Enjoy him! Oh, and need I say, PICS!!!

Worth getting him hip and elbow scored first IMO, that could be a bad combination for Hip Dysplasia.

He has just arrived - will get some pictures up at the weekend. We have changed his name to Hudson (it was Doofus)...
