Dog / animal tracker review
Discussion
Hi all,
Due to having particularly errant terriers I recently invested in a Garmin tracking device.

It is the 4th type of tracker I have used with the dogs and by far the best.
Coupled with an iphone it provides a quick way to tell where the dog is. Even with only normal GSM signal on the phone.
A brilliant bit of kit.

My mum has one of these for her Birman cat - she's paranoid since she lost one up a tree for 7 days.

My worry would be that they might lose the tracker that hangs on the collar - I know she's had to order a few replacements. But finding the cat is very easy and it works well.

We have loc8tors. The better covers are the inline collar ones rather than the dangly ones.
We have retrieved several lost collars with them which we wouldn't have found but sadly now we have a cat missing I'm getting absolutely nothing on the finder. I suppose she's either out of range or the sender has given up. Damned frustrating all the same.
