Best suggestions? Want a KC registered puppy but not much luck contacting breeders as not many litters.

Why do you want a KC registered pup? Far more faults are bred into lines when breeding for looks rather than ability. I'd favour a none KC dog from good working stock personally if you want a healthy dog

Try a google on Border terrier rescue centre. Plenty about. Why give a breeder stacks of cash ,when you can contribute to the rescue of members of the breed. Like all terriers they respond to love and affection and there is more satisfaction in giving a badly used dog a loving home than any thing else .
