Dog friendly places in Lochaber .
Discussion
Thinking in having one last trip up north, somewhere near Fort William ,to see last resting places of my parents and possibly letting my Tubby mate set foot on his ancestral soil, the dark Isle(Skye) . But finding that places that accept dogs are becoming rarer than places to smoke. Most places charge approx £20 to let a dog in . WHY?, he's house trained, and is less of a problem than a non nappy trained child. Looked at the dog friendly list and found nothing up north. Anyone help .
According to my trusty AA book, three options ...
1) Distillery House.
2) The Moorings.
3) Seangan Croft.
Cheers,
Eric

Thanks, Kiltie, but the prices, are off the scale.Even paying a doggy premium a bit further north works out a lot cheaper than any of these . One problem in Fort William in summer is finding somewhere that is cool enough to have the doors open when there's no chance of a midge attack.
Stayed here in the past at reasonable rates. Was dog friendly iirc. A little way out from For William though (20/25 mins).

Thanks folks, looking for self catering .Found a place in South Laggan, which seems to be OK. As said, it'll be my last trip ( I should imagine, unless Mrs posts my remains up north), up there ,and possibly the first time my four legged friend has visited the land of his forbears . I may even get the chance to take him to SKY, to let him post a welcome to others of his breed .
Welcome Cottages booked through the Dogs Trust give 10% of the booking cost to the charity.
Here's a selection of dog friendly self catering.

You could, perhaps, have been a wee bit more clear with your requirements and constraints.
People take time to provide a considered reply based on the information provided in the OP.
If the OP lacks detail then there's a risk of people replying in good faith and then finding out that they've wasted their time.
... just saying ...
Cheers,
Eric
