We are away for a couple of weeks in May and due to booking a ferry from Newcastle then it rather impracticable to use the normal option of relatives on the South coast, so can anyone recommend a good dog sitter or a really good kennels nearish Northallerton?

Not had to leave Roo in kennels before.

My wife and I were considering looking into this company until we had some luck and a family member was able to house sit our Golden Retriever

They might be able to look after your hound.

That does look good, but I think for £900 I would rather make the trip down to my parents and leave her there.

Any other options?

Would have said us, but with the wife at work two days a week it'd be a bit much for our springer to cope with

Thanks. Would be good to have the number. We are in Northallerton, yes.

We may be sorted now, though. Just awaiting a few phone calls.

Friends use Barking Mad for their vizsla and are very pleased with the service.

Dogs are boarded in a home environment and get lots of walks and human interaction. The boarder is local and has gun dogs of her own.

Yes please. Would be nice to have options.

The pain is we have booked to go from Newcastle ferry to avoid driving down to Dover. banghead

Hi Andy.

We checked with Rob a couple of weeks ago. We definitely want him to look after Roo.

I'll pm you my number.
