A girl I know reckons she saw a fox running past St Pauls cathedral in broad daylight this morning. I know there are a few in central London but I assumed they hung around the parks.

Are urban foxes really that urban?

Yes, apparently they have close linkages with Occupy London.

After working in London and its area for the past 9 months i have seen more foxes, during the day/night than in 60 years of living in an area regarded as countryside.
There is even one living in the undrground carpark at the office block i work in.

Yes, I'm in London and the foxes take more rubbish from the bins than the binmen. And they don't ask for an xmas tip!!

Best one I ever saw was a fox running down the road with a Kentucky Bucket in its mouth. Took a pic on the phone but it was night and it didn't come out.

In the countryside they go for chickens, and in town they demand chickens in succulent blend of herbs and spices. That's evolution.

I've seen a fox in Soho. I imagine they do quite well from raiding restaurant bins / discarded takeaways.

I rememeber walking in london one evening with my brother he bent over to stroke what he thought was a cat! turned out to be a fox which just looked at him and wandered off! Urban Foxes are awsome! Like little ginger dog cats!

In one case ,Ive seen a pair , having a feast after party goers have gone home , from bins near to a taxi rank ,on thrown away food,. seems they are now on a fast food diet . perhaps Mr Fox now invites his chosen one for a night out to prey on his bin of choice .
