meet the newest member of our furry family!

She is a rather gorgeous Blue Berkshire Dumbo , she looks rather huge in my pic but it must just be the way I took it as she is only 6 weeks old half the size of my other girls!

No name as yet...so suggestions welcome! something blue related would be good!

She's very pretty - as are all your rats - I had no idea they came in such a variety of colours.

How about Bluebell?

Not quite sure why it's "acceptable" to suggest killing or maiming someone else's pet. Regrettably seems quite common for those who keep rodents.

Whilst I agree with you Podie/Mubby, I do think Randall was tongue in cheek.... (hopefully)

Anyway, thats a lovely colour, not seen one like that before. Whilst they are not for me, I can see the pleasure in keeping them, I just dont like little tiny sharp nippy things.

What a beautiful rat (never thought I'd say that as I'm not too keen on them), my suggestion for a name is Azzurra.

I was indeed being a little facetious. She's a lovely thing, and I can see the attraction.

Just not today, when those creatures that are absolutely unrelated have a) caused me to spend a day filling in the little holes in doors that they have nibbled, and b) eaten nearly a whole bucketful of erm, treats. That was hanging on the back of a door in an outhouse, five feet in the air.

Not normally a rat fan but that's pretty and a lot less scary looking than the old albino rat my friend had!

I think she should be called Crowdie, it's a soft Scottish cheese and she looks soft.

LOL I didn't take it to heart! If I had I would have said alot more than "poor little rattie"

oh dont get me wrong, If I seen a wild rat I would be the one running screaming! eek and the rat poison would be straight down!
