They give me the creeps.

Don't know why as I generally like all animals but for some reason I feel quite uncomfortable near them.
An ex had one and I hated it when it sloooowly made its way towards me in the living room of her parents house. It seemed to be attracted to me. >shudder<

I'd kick it away when the family were not watching. shoot

Am I alone?

(should it be Tortoise's?)

Isn't the plural Tortoise'?

Not creeped out by them. Once found one marching down a country B road. Nearest civilisation was a farm about a mile away. It wasn't thier's but left it with them as I was cyclng at the time. Nothing else for miles so very strange. Was about 9" across it's shell so quite old.

I think you have to formulate a getaway plan the next time you see one advancing. Make sure all the exits are clear and you have a direct route to the door and you should get out in time.
