Hi All,

Just wanted to pass on information regarding a problem in the Surrey Area of the country, particularly in the Bracknell area.

It is currently not safe to walk your dog at Heathlake (off Nine Mile Ride or at the Look Out) both popular areas for dog walking.

It is reported that someone is leaving peanut butter sandwiches laced with rat poisen. 2 dogs have died and a number are seriously ill.

The police are investigating and locals are being warned to be extra vigilent and not to let their dogs off the lead.

The are some sick bds out there

I'm not a dog lover , more a cat person but still , anyone that does this is just plain wrong in the head and needs catching. even though im not a dog fan i would never hurt one, after all they are parts of someones family and loved. folk have done this to cats too and it sickens me that there are folk out there that will willingly hurt harmless animals... the only ones i want to hurt regarding dogs are those that dont bag up the dog crap , or those that do and then throw it in the hedge at the side of my house... not doggies fault but the humans who are supposed to take care of them. hope they catch the culprit soon !!

I'd be willing to bet a small amount that whoever's doing this hasn't got a criminal record, so may well be doing this without wearing gloves. Hopefully the police get a lead and can match up the prints on any sandwiches found.

IME you get two kinds of people that do this: kids who think it's a 'laugh' (the rarity)
or adults with serious problems.
