grooming for a border crossed patterdale

Hi all...

I've been thinking about getting a puppy since Oct and over the last few months I have decided that I want a furball buddy again... Altho I'm not an experienced dog owner I have had a dog before and have done a fair bit of research over the last few months... Then I fell in love with this border crossed patterdale pup... Altho I have done my research I need some help on the grooming side of things.

We think this little guy's coat is going to be more border like... Please advise... Any help would be most grateful... Trying to get my knowledge up as much as pos before my lil fur ball comes home...
