The title says it all!
Yesterday I noticed that my cat's meow has become very squeaky almost like he had lost his voice.
Any ideas?

Cat's can get pharyngitis (basically a sore throat) usually viral related, as long as your cat does not seem in discomfort (ie eating ok, acting normally otherwise and not gagging/ wretching etc) then give him a couple of days and see if he gets over it on his own.

If he is struggling with above symptoms then he may need some treatment so you'll need to phone your vets for advice, if coughing/ gagging etc there is a chance of a grass blade being stuck in the throat and that will be uncomfortable.

If no better 3-4 days after it started get him ck'd. That should be enough time for him to be getting better on his own (or at least showing signs of improving smile)
