My dear friend Elicia had a tragic accident in Arizona and is still out there (with a punctured lung) trying to find one of her dogs...

If anyone can do anything to help we will be most grateful - Friends are trying to raise enough money to get a helicopter search and others are camped by the highway in a 24-hour vigil...

I don't normally post this sort of thing, but this lady saved my life once and I don't know anyone more deserving of help and support at this time... She has set up an International Charity to research into canine cancer and tirelessly fund-raises for the 'Suni-fund' to try to help all of us with dogs, even though she lives a very modest life herself and really should be looking after herself better!

Thanks for reading smile

What about a microlight? Much cheaper.

I guess the infra-red camera is the important bit, and they can't be used during the day; I don't think you can fly a microlight at night.

Raises money for canine cancer charity to help all dogs then tries to rent a fking helicopter to look for her own lost dog.

Surely the thousands raised for helicopter rental would be better spent on the aforementioned cancer research than looking for one dog?

Even if it was my dog I would think this, I am just being realistic and not over sentimental.

Her many many friends are the ones trying to raise the money, not Elicia - she would think the same as you, probably: Instead, she checked herself out of hospital, with a punctured lung, and is right now in the Arizona desert in God knows what temperatures, looking for her own dog.

My apologies (seriously). Reading over my post again I'm actually pretty ashamed of it. It was in bad taste and completely unnecessary.

ill find the appeal page and make a donation.

Sorry chaps.

very gracious - thanks thumbup

Unfortunately PayPal have suspended the donation page as it's reached the $20,000 limit: They are trying to sort something else out, but obviously focusing on the search first.

I'll keep checking back. If nothing turns up it will go to the canine cancer charity instead.
