Our cat has recently decided she likes chips and popadoms, and our pup had taken a fancy to broccoli storks.

Wondered what Wierd and wonderful things other people's pets like.

Don't you just love it when they eat st..?

My last mutt used to sit and wait for the cats to crap, then he was on it like a Somali famine victim...

Mine & others pounce on the leftovers in local park, where our elected councillors preach about dog droppings and the dangers to kids, whilst ignoring the dangers to our dogs & toddlers from the array of broken glass on the paths & grass.

My OH's dog eats grass. Not just occasionally, but every time he's outside.

Stupid .

Anything edible. He not only eats it but explodes in a fury of excitement at the prospect of it.

Hold a tiny piece of something really boring in front of him (ie. a tiny bit of lettuce) and he will literally do anything to get it. You could put him through a 30 minute training session and he will stay focused and learn new tricks just so he can get that bit of lettuce at the end.

I laughed every time he was at the vets and they asked if he's off his food... Nothing, absolutely nothing, will put him off his food.
As a puppy he once broke into a bag of dog food and ate so much his chest swelled to double its normal size and he literally couldn't walk. Carrying him to the car made him yelp with pain. The vets couldn't get a tube into his stomach because the food was so compressed in it. They showed us the x-ray image of his organs all pushed out of place because his stomach was half the size of his body. When he got home only a couple of hours later and still barely awake from the anesthetic, the first thing he did was waddle over to the bag of food and try to take more smash.

It takes a lot of effort to stop a Labrador becoming a Flabrador!

Dogs eat grass as it aids digestion, they also eat it if they're feeling unwell to induce vomiting to make themselves feel better :P

Same as jess, if it's in the house it must be food. She had a penchant for eating footwear until she was a year old but from a food point of view she will eat anything other than pasta and olives!!
