I posted about 3 months ago about our cat Cassie going missing, sadly after exhausting every avenue we could think of we had to accept she wasnt coming back.
The general opinion was she had gone away to die somewhere(she was 16 years old).
This is one of the last pictures of her.

My wife and i decided that it was time to give another wee cat a loving home and went looking round the usual rescue centres etc.We finally found Mollie at the local cats protection league. She is very similar to Cassie as in she is black and quite a small cat,but she has green eyes, cassie had yellow.
Mollie is round about a year old and seems to have settled in very quickly, though she still has a few wee bad habits which we are trying to stop ie jumping up on worktops and sitting on top of the tv!!.

Lovely.

Why not get her a friend? Kittens playing is just sooooo much fun to watch.

She is a lovely wee girl, she is very very friendly and has been since the first time we went to see her.Cassie was a rescue cat as well but was badly abused and to be honest was a bit of a challenge over the years due to this you didnt get much back from her in the way of affection or playfulness but she was all in all a good wee cat unfortunately we never got the chance to say goodbye to her.
Mollie is a completey different kettle of fish, she loves to play, get picked up and loves to wake us up in the morning with a wet nose rub or a tap on the face with her paw!!!!.
Hope she has as good a life as Cassie did.

Cute. Not cute enough to detract form the horror of Janet Street Porter but still cute.

Lovely - looks like she's settling in then!

our new babies (see my thread on Sasha/Sveta) also love sitting on technology - trying to get them out of the habit of sitting on the laptop keyboard! Fortunately they have not made it upstairs yet and even when they do, aren't big enough to get on the bed for the wake-up-wet-nose/paw tap - yet!
