Well, this is my oh so Loyal dog Biggs. He is a Staffy x (Something) Possibly Mastiff. and roughly 2-3 years old.

The Story;

My Mum was volunteering in an RSPCA shop last year, and one day, a man came in with a Dog. (Biggs)
He was a drunk man, and a rather blatant druggy, but all in all a sound man.

He approached my Mum, and asked if she knew somewhere where he got give his dog a better life. Now, we have had Staffs, practically all of the time, and since my last one, sadly had to be put down, we were without a proper dog. (We had patterdales)

My Mum immediately fell in love with him, and this is when she first got him;

And he got on perfect with our other dogs;

Then after a while, the patterdales had Puppies, and there wasn't enough room for more than 4 dogs in the house, let alone 9.
With me living at my Nans, it was a perfect opportunity to steal him from my Mum for (What she thought) would only be a a few months.

Well, 5 months later, he is still here.

He is easily the best dog I have ever owned. He is obedient, house trained, can be left alone (But he is rarely alone, my Nan can't get out the house much) he is just perfect.

Not much of a write up, but it's all I can say really.

Some more pictures;
He loves the sun, and chasing lawn mowers, this was his dream come true -

Stealing the bed;

And this is him, earlier today;

biggrin - big smile on my face right now. This is what it is all about, unconditional love.

It's also fair to say that I have met some lovely owners who have drug/drink problems but who dote on their four legged friends, sounds like this guy was looking out for his friend and wishing him a better life.

I know what you mean.

Huge respect to the man really, my Mum told me, when the man left, he said please don't walk him around here, or I will have to have him back.
