A friend is currently out in Mexico and found this beauty outside her front door.

Anyone know what it is? (apart from a spider).

Hard to tell from the pic, but if it's about 5" - 7" and has fine red/pink hairs on its abdomen it could be a Mexican red rump. Pretty dosile.

fking scary as hell, what else do you need to know except that you should run fast in the other direction. Little spiders, no issues, spiders like that will eventually take over the world.

i dont know i think its kinda cute, for a spider that is. i did ask if it had pink hairs on its back and was told "i took a photo then ran away like a screaming school girl" so i dont know.

it apparantly was a big fekker however.
