Identify this HUGE moth

there are larger hawk moths you can come across, such as the elephant hawk (pink and greenish) lime hawk, as well as rarer ones (I can't remember the name but we trapped a very rare one once, turned out to be one of about three reported to the beards that month)
They are pretty impressive and generally don't mind if you want to put one on your finger.

THIS is a huge moth. The Atlas moth, lives about a week, due to a genetic problem, it doesnt have a mouth, starves and dies.

One was in the paper the other week.
