was told about this today and checked it out on Youtube
DEFRA and RSPCA a total bunch of TW4T5, suprisingly comments link has been disabled, I wonder why.
I am an Austringer (fly Hawks) and a Golden Eagle is just awseome, and they killed it.
I just wanted to point out the fact that some people in certain positions just dont understand there actions.
as an example, look how DEFRA managed the foot and mouth outbreak !!
I took an injured sparrowhawk to the RSPCA in Cheshire a few years ago it had flown into a neighbours window and they wanted to put it down straight away, I took it home again and after 3 weeks it was fine, released it back where it was found, Two years ago had a young Kestrel brought to me I called again to find out if somebody on there books would look after it as I was short of time, again didnt get a favourable response so reared it myself, released him, we live in the countryside and sometimes a male kestrel sits on our gate or on the telegraph pole in our field and doesnt fly off until i'm quite close, so would like to think it was him.

No idea what you are talking about BUT I am afraid I lost all respect for the RSPCA a long time ago, which is why I cancelled my support for them.

That is absolutely disgusting.

Primary blame has to lie with those who took the decision to confiscate and failed to secure proper care, however if they didn't have the facilities and expertise to look after the bird, the RSPCA should have said so.

I don't have a great deal of respect for the RSPCA these days, I think they want to be the police when they ought to be the social services.
