He's beautiful! Excuse my ignorance but he doesn't look like all the springers I've seen. Is he a special type?

Hope you don't mean Odin the Bernese Mountain dog who's only 7months smile

Diesel is a true working springer spaniel from Verstone Gundogs and not a show springer which are thicker set and have more of a rounded head. He's only 8months and still developing.

Sorry my mistake! Yes I was referring to the black and white beauty about 4 posts up. Such a lovely looking dog.

Just to add, how much would a male puppy be from that place roughly?

Fantastic dogs as you say. Max and Flo are his mum and dad smile

Depends on your dogs health and how many litters she has had. I don't breed my dogs so your best speaking to a breeder.

About £600 for a Springer, not sure how much he sells his Working Cockers for.

That's very reasonable considering their pedigree and potential working ability.

Does a working one require more exercise than a normal springer?

No they require the same but the working breed has the a hunting brain and needs mental stimulus. There are show spaniels that have made great working gundogs but not visa versa. Crufts does have a separate class for working gundogs but that's now going towards show dogs.
