Senegal parrots
Discussion
Im looking into getting a Senegal parrot and am trying to find someone who has already got one, so I can find out what they are like to keep and look after etc etc. also trying to find a recommended breeder as the prices I have seen vary and I'd like to be sure I buy from a good breeder.
Any help appreciated

tting out of the cage , get a cage with a skirt around it to minimise the mess! They are easy to keep but do have a mind of their own so not sure about training mine does try to talk but with not much of a repertoire it tends to be a whistled talk but is obvious what he is saying .

They're loud, jealous, temperamental and stroppy. Also amazing fun and very affectionate if you're in their good books.
They behave like 3 year old kids in many ways.
They have distinct personalities, some are very smart and great mimics, learn easily and read your moods very well. Others are thick as s
t!
My parrot used to learn my ringtone and 'phone' in the middle of the night. I learned to shout 'hello' rather than get out of bed but had to change my ringtone every couple of weeks... b
