Am having Leather Chesterfield refurbished, any suggestions on keeping very active Ragdoll Tom from damaging it apart from covers, is there any spray that cats don,t like that can be applied or any other ideas?

Clip their claws regularly, just take the ver sharp tip off and no problems will be had.

That's a bit odd as we were advised to get a leather suite as the cats (we have two, and they badly damaged a fabric suite) wouldn't scratch leather and sure enough they never have.

Yep, I have leather as it is less susceptible to damage (mine ruined a fabric sofa!), I get the odd scratch but nothing to get upset about & only when not been clipped... & it polishes out easily!

Besides, Chesterfields look better lived in wink
