6 month old lab - time to drop to 2 feeds per day?
Discussion
My lab just ticked over to 6 months and I'd like to know if you guys feel it's time to drop him to 2 feeds a day from the 3 he's on now.
I feed him at around 7am 12pm and 6pm, give or take an hour and it's been fine for him. He's in great shape, very healthy and active so his feed (Arden Grange) is doing him well but the missus just brought up frequency tonight.
He's 24kg already so will be a canon ball of a dog!

My lab was brought down to 2 meals a day about that age. He wasn't impressed at all. Come lunch time he used to just stare at me or bark. If you got up to go to the kitchen he used to pile through at top speed and wait by his bowl. He soon got used to the fact that his lunch was now a thing of the past.
