The Mrs wants a puppy. What to do??
Discussion
Seriously have to consider how it may upset the balance. Of course a third dog may fit into the group fine but it could cause all sorts of problems. If this is prepared for and you have the time and space (and finances) for a third dog (and wife commits to it) then why not.
If there are any concerns re the above then maybe not

OH was making noises about a third baby, I said I've always wanted a dog.
So the deal was.... if you can cope with a dog, we can have another baby.
She'll never cope with a cocker I thought.........
We got a cocker and its the best thing we've ever done, but she's coping really well with it all at home, and now..... Yes the baby conversations coming up again!

girl said our pointers aren't cuddly enough and wanted a more lap type dog so we got a bedlington terrier. 3 dogs is maybe too much our terrier is constantly nipping at the pointers, we have a small ish cottage and they do take over. Thankfully we have a run for them outside or crank the wood burner up to send them to sleep after a long day.Gassing Station | All Creatures Great & Small | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
