Back to the vets again....

Coco le rabbit is having problems. All of a sudden she'll hanker down in pain, tossing and turning, refusing food and water and generally looking on her last legs. If she walks around she dribbles wee and keeps cleaning herself. Then all of a sudden she's fine and tearing round the garden, binkying and flopping on her side.
What do the great and good think it could be? I have my money on sludgy bladder and too much calcium (as it happened when they has kale and spinach for their supper and the last time it happened there was a lot of kale involved too)
Treacle has a gammy hip but the warmth of the sub seems to be helping no end.
And vaccinations are due.
It's going to be an expensive night.....
Why are they only ill near a bank holiday? It was Christmas Eve last time!!

No tests.
One consultation, £83 of metacam and £45 of vaccine (for the other one)
We were in there for a good half an hour and they printed off loads about low calcium diets and some sample foods too.
The three of us (vet and husband) decided to try diet and a bit of anti inflammatory before tests as it was less invasive.
The practice is Great Western Exotics - and they damn expensive but they fabulous and we've never had anything other than excellent care.
Tbh it's one of the smaller bills from them for these two!!
(I'm just pleased she's hoppier)

We cannot fault their care in any shape or form.
Just wish there was a bowl of lollipops to take the shock away from the bill!
Buns have had a good feed this evening and I tried one of their new (seeing as they are impossible to split and feeding time is a good bonding time, they will both get the diet) urinary tract diet sticks - they taste just like digestives with cranberries. Yummy! I'd be glad to eat those!
