Cat allergies seem to be a common issue, less so dogs. What does the readership think?

Cats & Dogs, never stopped me having both though. Your body gets used to them & the problems go away, at least that's my experience.

I'm allergic to some cats and dogs, but by no means all.

It makes no difference whether the cat / dog has long or short hair either, since the component I'm allergic to is a protein in the animal's saliva where it grooms itself.

Just cats afaik, and that includes cheetahs

Just cats, but again - has never stopped me from having them!
