Miaowing his head off. No collar. Looks pretty thin. Walking up and down screaming. Doesn't look hurt in anyway.

We can't take him in as we have 2 of our own but we've put some food down for it outside and it's gobbled it up.

As its a cold night I've put a box with a blanket outside for it if its going to hang around.

If its still there tomorrow shall I take it to the local cat shelter to see if its scanned etc? Or is it too early for all that and maybe a cat on an adventure?

Are either of your cats female and in heat? Have you not a spare room for it to sleep in tonight? Just thinking it's cold/windy out.

No both of them are geezers and have had the chop. I'd actually gladly give it a home but don't want to take it in if is someone's pet etc. no collar tho and it's a friendly enough thing. I live in a loft apartment and the only enclosed area is the bathroom !

Well his still outside miaowing and hissing at alfred and ted through the gaps in the window but I'm going to bed. He has a nice big box with a roof and a blanket outside and has had something to eat. He's also away from the main road if he stays where he is so should be safe id he has no home to got to. If he's still there tomorrow well take him to the vets to get scanned. I could do without another cat tbh but if he has been abandoned or whatever ill take him in.

It sounds like you should take him in now just in case - cats do remember when you help them out.

Phone your vets, get them to scan it for a chip. If no chip see if they know a local rescue centre that maybe able to help.

Not a tabby is it?

Ha, just wondering what an amazing thing that would be, ours is missing (although we live well outside london).

Hopefully if you've put food down he'll hang around, would be so good if you could reunite him with his owners if he's missing from somewhere.

Not a tab I'm afraid.

He hasn't been around since last night and now he's back. I'm starting to wonder if he's just a crafty cat after some free grub...

No, he wants a bed for the night too.

And some tuna, a little tickle wouldn't go amiss, oh and you wouldn't have a small toy to play with as well, would you?

Thanks, there's a good chap.

Did you open the link that I posted?
It's a print off paper collar that you attach to the cat

Get it to the vet, scanned, and adopted. Like a good cat servant.

Catch it, box it up & off down to the post office with it. VinceFox has started running a stray cat sanctuary hehe

The VinceFox home for waifs, strays, usurping duplicitous arrogant bds and general greedy little shoyts.

It does have a certain ring to it......
