Finally got her at last, here's Olive the 9 week old French Bulldog

She's settled in really well, a little 5 minute cry the first night but other than that she's right at home!

Hopefully her Bat ears will stick up soon, they do for a few seconds before dropping down so shouldn't be long smile

Very good advice. We have a frenchie called Ralf, he is a serious dog. We have a dogue de Bordeaux and two British bull dogs and ralf will tackle all of them. They have very little fear and are big people dogs.

It is said one of their original roles was to guard French ladies of the night. I believe out frenchie has those genes smile

^ He looks brill, a right stocky little fella!

She's settling in great, a few little accidents on the floor but we're learning the little hints that she needs to go outside now!

Our Frankie is very possessive towards my wife, occasionally he gets snappy if I get near her, any signs of this I would recommend dog training school

Exactly what ralf does. He seriously guards my wife in the home. You don't mess.

He's fine out of the home but once on site you'll need balls of steel to get through. Unlike the Bordeaux he is incredibly nimble and can reverse on a 5 pence peice and come forward again in milliseconds.

The big dogs are mine, these little dogs aren't my cup of tea smile

She is beautiful smile and I love the name Olive.
My 8 year old Frenchie girl is currently asleep on my lap. They do have big dog personalities but they adore people, mine is registered with Pets As Therapy and loves visiting schools.

Addz she's lovely mate smile I posted in the photo of your dog thread to see if you had picked her up and only just noticed this thread.

Incredible jealous we still haven't managed to pursued the landlord to let us have one yet as we rent. frown

Went to the pub yesterday afternoon and there where a few dog owners there and sat thinking "I wish we had Albert" frown one day.

Do keep us updated I'd love to hear more about how your all getting on...

Come on then where's the picture now her ears are up! wink

The wife so wants a French Bulldog, however Humphrey, our Pug, is too old at 11 and not in the greatest health so we wouldn't force a new face on to him as I think it would upset him too much.
