Want to know what is really in Pet food? Found this clip, wish it wasn't true.

Some people may find this disturbing.

I only watched the first few seconds but as it's a USA based video I doubt it's relevance in the UK.

A few years ago I worked with a guy that was a director of a major UK food producer. Their factory was state of the art but he said the pet food factories had to be even better!

One day he gave me a large bit of steak, it was one of the best pieces of meat I have ever had.
It was 'intervention meat' and he should not have either had it himself or given it to me as it was released for pet food production.

I sell a lot of James Wellbeloved in our shop and by chance a customer came in who was holidaying nearby. She sells her oats to many companies. One of the companies is JWB and the oats that aren't suitable for JWB are given to human food factories.

In fairness what we might consider "off" meat is ok for dogs to eat. They will quite happily eat a kill 5 days later. They can cope with the bacteria.

I don't know about after the pet food companies have done something to it so it is kibble mind.....
