any suggestions on a dog bed to go inside a crate. Boris rather likes the crate (probably to escape 3 noisy children) however all the padded fleece beds I've bought don't last long.

I wondered if I could stuff one of the wipe clean tuffies into his crate:

I think the large sized one will just fit into his XL crate.

There seem to be lots of beds out there for crates but I really want something waterproof and long lasting as Boris is ever so fond of paddling in the ditches and sinking up to his chest in the somme like mud in the fields near us.

I use vet bed. Moisture soaks through it and its durable an easy to wash.

We've gone with vet bed bedding for Jeff. He seems to like it. He chewed a proper foam bed to death.
