As above. Just now. The log stack is outdoors.

It was beating its wings but surely that can't help since it's dark outside and 6 C.

I've covered it with kitchen towels for now - how best to transport it to a warmer place tomorrow? I have a south-facing greenhouse.

I work in a timber yard, and we see LOADS of peacocks. They seem to really like hibernating in a woody environment.

Few weeks back,we were refilling a timber rack and there must have been a few hundred
Peacocks flew out of the racks due to the banging and crashing we were making.

I looked outside this morning and it had gone. Hope it's managed to find somewhere it can survive the cold.

If I'd known it would take off, I'd have put out some sugar water for it. rolleyes
