Hi All

A family friend has had her collie "Maid" bolt from the car yesterday from the Durleigh area of Bridgwater. She was last seen on the A39 toward Cannington but possible sightings since round Skimmerton Lane and Spaxton. She has now been out for 24 hours, if anybody sees her please let us know via the FB (phone numbers etc on FB https://www.facebook.com/groups/620695914635870/)a... here http://www.doglost.co.uk/dog-blog.php?dogId=60302#... The collie responds to the call May-De-May and is clicker trained.

Its a long shot but you never know.

Thanks

Àww hope she's found soon. Is the collie local to the area she's gone missing in? Is she microchipped? Will share the fb page

Might be worth checking with police/RSPCA etc to see if any dogs have been found or reported to them.

Try http://www.doglost.co.uk/ , there are plenty of helpers there who will help. They find loads of lost and missing dogs.

Also, change the thread title to "Missing Dog in Bridgwater, Somerset area" because nobody's going to search for the "pooch" version.

They have her on dogs lost already ( that's the page I have shared on fb. I think dogs lost usually contacts vets and rescue centres aswell.

Maid is finally home safe, bit thin, dehydrated and very sore feet but ok. Took several days and several willing volunteers but they got her in the end!! Almost a rugby tackle grab I gather!!
