I was playing tug-o-war with my 14 month old dog as I always do and suddenly noticed blood on the rope.

I thought she'd bit her tongue or something but then I noticed one of her teeth on the floor... frown

Is this a baby tooth or is this one of her adult teeth?

She hasn't reacted in pain at all so I'm hoping it's her milk teeth.

Can't really tell but she is really to old to still have baby teeth unless she had some retained (usually happens with canine teeth so you will have a baby tooth next to an adult one.

I really think you should get a vet to check, if it is an adult tooth she may have a root remaining which could cause a problem.

Would have to ask exactly how much tugging was going on? And what breed is she?

We have a 4.5 month old whippet who has lost his first big baby tooth tonight, breeder told us they would all be gone by about 6 months so it foes sound like a trip to the vets.
