they can do the 'rigid with shock' thing for quite a while when there are people about...along with being generally quite grumbly when they get over it!
Were I you I'd take the box out to the garden and leave one end open and it'll bugger off sharpish i would think...certainly now its got dark anyway

I really cant imagine there's enough of anything on a hedgie to make it worth eating...be a bit like cooking a hamster once you'd got rid of all the spines!

They'll happily chow it down and it's much better for them than anything else you might reasonably have lying around.

I left it out for the fox, but the hedgies beat him to it. Our two hedgies totally ignore the cat food (I've tried that), but love chicken wings!They'll happily chow it down and it's much better for them than anything else you might reasonably have lying around.
