Daisy our deaf Frenchie has gone missing, I got a call from the youngest at 14:30 to say that the porch door was open and Daisy was no where to be seen, she had been out looking for her, I came home from work and have spent around 3 hours driving around looking for her as have a couple of my friends.

What is odd is absolutely no one that I; or my friends, have spoken to when we have been out on our search have seen a little white French Bull Dog running around the area, it is a big estate and there are alot of people and teenagers about.

She went missing a few months ago and was found very quickly by a family round the corner who rung me; she has a tag with my number, and loads of people had seen her.

I have a horrible feeling that she has been taken as there are alot of dog thefts in the area at the moment. frown

Put her up on Lost Dog. Also your facebook page as a lot of local people might be able to look and see.

That's terrible news, sorry to hear.
Get the word out to as many people as possible, social media and your whole phonebook in the local area.
Ask everyone you see.

Best of luck.

Also let the police/dog warden know in case someone hands her in.

Has she a collar with a tag/number on it?

Already spoken to the Police and they have given me the Dog Warden's number and yes she has a collar with a tag that has my number on.

Sorry to hear that your dog is missing, I can only imagine how you feel. Just a thought, if she is microchipped, make sure you mention it to your vet to notify that the dog is missing, it just covers the bases in case someone has "found" her and takes her to a vet. HTH

Cheers everyone for your advice and concern, so far there is in news however it seems to have gone pretty much viral on FB; nationwide, the wife is also friends with a few big players in the local "traveller community" who are having a look into it as there are issues at the moment with dogs being stolen and apparently with "travellers" if they are told; by those higher up, to not do something or to return something, they will do so.

I've been out on my push bike most of the evening and night putting up posters and speaking to people but no one has seen anything.

It's very odd as no one locally has seen a little white dog running around, it was a Saturday afternoon when she went missing and on a busy and large estate and no one saw her and particularly in her favourite place; the local park, which makes me think she has been stolen from our garden particularly as there have been dog thefts in the area recently.

We've got her back, she was picked up locally by a drunk teenager who took her home across town, she was missing her collar, the woman was going to phone the Police this morning but saw the wife's FB alert and messaged her.

What a relief! Guess drunk teenager meant well! Is she microchipped? Good back up for when collars are lost/ removed.

Yep she is microchipped.

A neighbour from a few houses up just popped by as he saw the FB post this morning, he remembers seeing a white "boy racer car" pull up in the vicinity of our house around the time she went missing and he caught a glimpse of a white dog running across the road and getting in but didn't think anymore of it.
