Neighbours cat keeps crapping on my lawn
Discussion
Another reason why I don't let my cat wander. Had the same problem with a next door neighbours cat -, just ensured that whenever his little head appeared, he got a water pistols full of water emptied on him. Strangely, I only had to do this on 3 or 4 occasions and it stopped.
As for having a word with the owner, other than keeping tiddles indoors, their isn't a great deal they can do.

You can by a sensor that attaches to your water hose that triggers with movement may be worth a go.
Our can still uses his tray to crap in as he tends to do it at night when he's locked in when he's out he spends most of his time in a big bushy area at the side of the house or in our garden seems to stay out the neighbours thankfully.

Try squeezing lemons around the affected area (maybe leave the lemon there), as I heard they don't like the acide smell.
You can buy powder to put down too.
I bought a load of chicken wire and put strips of it near the affected area, and a few spikey bits might have been poking up... Seemed to deter them.

The same goes with hurting the owner, the cat wouldn't give a fk. The police would, as the RSPCA would be if you hurt the cat.
Bottles of water work supposedly.
Yes, that is true, the cat wouldn't care. But I've known people (and their kids) to get very badly hurt and have to leave their homes when they start attacking neighbour's dogs/cats.Bottles of water work supposedly.

Get a dog. A fast one that does not like cats. It's great entertainment .
Again, serious issues have arisen out of such conduct. And some cat people will happily poison a dog which has attacked their cat - easily done with food over the fence. milner993 said:
I do not want to inflict any harm to the cat despite my "beat the neighbor or the cat" comment I'm sure the consistent spraying of water will be enough to deter the little git, that’s if I every catch him/she in the act I have my suspicions of which of the three cats that walk around the neighborhood are the culprit.
Forget the water and use lemon juice. I used one of those lemon shaped lemon juice things they get a decent distance and lets face it cats really really dislike cleaning lemon juice out of their fur. I only got the little blighter twice and he/she never came back!Gassing Station | All Creatures Great & Small | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
