Oh wow, privileged. My favourite BOP. I was lucky enough to handle a few at my first practice. Obviously not so lucky for them but we had a pretty good success rate with them.

Very lucky - such wonderful birds.

Saw one very close toy house a couple of years back - not something you forget.

Quite regularly see/hear them circling around at work. There is a small wooded area about half a mile from the factory where there have been a nesting pair for the past 3 or 4 years. Quite a sighte in the summer months after the chicks have fledged.

I've not seen one that close but heard seen them on a regular basis whilst dog walking in Warwickshire.

They're almost at plauge numbers in our area. Not unusual to have 20 buzzards in a 10 acre field whilst ploughing. You can have too much of a good thing.

Their call is quite scary too. If I was in a woods on my own at night and heard a buzzard it would be change of underwear time!

You know in films, when there is the scary, dark wood that the person should in no way contemplate entering, if the soundtrack has a birdcall it's likely to be a buzzard.
