Cat's teeth and how to look after them
Discussion
I have 4 kit-cats (all under a year and a half). They have 5 pouches of food a day between them with a constant supply of crunchies/kibble type stuff (and several bowls of water dotted about the place). They have a habit however of wanting to chew the ends of pens and pencils that are lying around (Ikea pencils seem to be a favourite!
). I thought I could get some kind of chew stick to stick in a pencil pot so they could have ago at when they walk by. Has anyone else done this and what would you recommend?
Our late kitty Wednesday was 23 when she went and she mainly ate Iams Senior crunchies (she was not bothered about wet food). The vet was astonished at the fact she had most of her teeth and they were in great condition for a 10 year old cat never mind one so elderly. So I want to help our new kitties keep good dental health too.
