Hamish the cat's cut nose

Hamish came home this morning with a cut nose, not sure if this needs a visit to the vet or not it does seem quite open?

Also for some reason his eyebrows on one side have gone all crinkly!

Don't know if he's been in a fight or not but he seems fine.

I would say they have been singed.

Re his nose if it looks superficial (can be hard to tell in a pic) then it will probably be ok.

Ck it daily to see it's healing, if he is rubbing it etc he'll need a buster collar. If it seems to spread or if you are just not happy with it then getting it checked would be sensible.

My own cat cut her nose (no idea how!!) but I just left it as she was not bothered by it, then bathed the scab off after a few days, it was fine.

Thanks Bex will keep an eye on it doesn't seem bothered by it at all so far so fingers crossed it just sorts itself.

The look on his face suggests the other cat lost!

If he has been scrapping, watch out for abscesses .
