Me and my lad were out in the garden last Monday when one of these landed on his playhouse, scared both of us to death at first!

It took a few attempts to take off and get out of the garden.

We've got quite a big woodland about half a mile away but never seen one before.

I've seen a lot of Hornet Hoverflies around lately too, another wimp trading off the looks of a scarier creature!
