Excellent result. My Dad was an auxiliary Coastguard for several years. Went down a cliff to rescue a dog. I was on duty at the local vets that day (a Sunday) so he brought it to us for treatment smile. Grateful owners became our clients when they then moved to the area!

People often complain that they shouldn't rescue animals! The Coastguard are always happy to do so if they are able as it is a great training exercise if nothing else but also because most of them love animals!

Also because animals are happy when you do, humans, well they're humans.

Skeptical due to having done a few rescues.

I would be very pleased to be rescued and if it was in a helicopter, I would be very excited at the same time smile

Good result!

I didn't know that the Coastguard had a rescue arm as well as the RNLI until I just had a look.
