What Spider Is This? Am I Going To Die?

Found this little bugger above one of my windows the other day and took a photo as it looked interesting. I planned to remove it, but promptly forgot and now it’s disappeared.

Basically, has it entered my house with a plan to kill me? I’m not sure my stair domination skills extend to spiders as I don’t like them very much.

I think it’s a False widow but without seeing the markings on the whole abdomen...

One bite will turn you inside out. Have a good sleep!

I've got a huge one of these living under the plastic trim cover thingy of my bathroom light. It's been annoying my cat as it's managed to snaffle at least three big juicy moths which my cat sees as flying treats.

Not entirely reassuring. I’m hoping now that it’s dark it’ll come back out and I’ll be able open the can of whoopass that I have planned for it.
