Are our amphibious aviators OK with these bird seed/fat ball combo products? I'll make sure they're broken down into manageable chunks but is the high fat content somehow an issue for waterfowl?

'Our' ducks won't touch them, oddly. They're very popular with all the wild birds, but the ducks ignore the broken bits on the gound.

I tried feeding them some on the pond too, and ended up having to pick the bits out again with a net.

Not a very relevant answer, I know...

Popular with mice, rats and squirrels too. I've located them away from the house.
