'Leonardo DiCaprio lauds birth of bison calf in Canterbury'

That's as if it was made up by some internet 'Random headline' generator... 'John Wayne announces marriage of polecat in Paris'...

I hate it when celebs jump on the nearest popularity bandwagon. Stick to acting, singing or whatever made you famous.

Blimey! What a thing to take away from that?

At least he's helping bring it to the publics attention.

I certainly had no idea, I think it's great.

Oh I'm happy about the bison in England, rewilding and all that, it's just the American actor that seems rather incongruous smile

Looking forward to seeing a few Bison roaming the great plains of Kent. Magnificent beasts, and no mistake...

What's the difference between a Buffalo and a Bison?

You can't wash your hands in a buffalo.

Yep, people shouldn't use their fame and celebrity to help anything outside of their narrow field of expertise. They should stick to doing what some random nobody on PH thinks they should do

Said a random nobody on PH.

The world doesn't need another celeb virtue signalling about climate change, we get it shoved down our throats many times a day already.

There is, it helps to control the deer population.

As a walker and dog owner I'm not particularly impressed (selfishly) reintroduction of wild boar in the Forest of Dean is another one to be wary of.

We have wild boar here. They are fine as long as you don't sneak up on them.

Just be normal and you are fine.

Take great Danes with you, specifically bred for boar and deer hunting. Then fire up the rotisserie. biggrin

Yes! Imagine all of the influencers jumping on that one; using their ‘fame’ to showcase the sport while filming themselves being mauled. What a thoroughly superb idea.

Let’s make this happen.
